Methylene blue wasn’t supposed to be used for ingestion but was developed for the textile industry.
In 1876 the chemical giant BASF in Germany produced Methylene Blue to stain fabrics.
In 1880 German microbiologist Robert Koch was the first to use the dye to stain cells to make it easier to view them under the microscope and to distinguish between cells alive and dead.
Methylene blue is the first pharmaceutical drug in history and received its laureate from treating Malaria.
Paul Ehrlich, the German Nobel Prize Laureate discovered its benefits for the brain. Ehrlich also found out that Methylene Blue targets primarily cells that are metabolically dysfunctional.
Methylene blue was also once used to test milk for its freshness. The less oxygen it contained, the quicker the blue colour would disappear, and you would know that the milk is very close to being spoiled.
WHAT is Methylene Blue?
Methylene Blue is a great aid in the scientific laboratory to stain bacteria and the like for easy exploring under the microscope.
If you are an avid aquarium person you probably know about Methylene Blue already because it acts as a safe disinfectant for your fish. It is anti-fungal and anti-parasitic.
And it doesn’t only work for fish. Pets such as cats, dogs, horses, cows, sheep, and humans alike can benefit from it. All the so-called deadly viruses are killed with one stroke so to say.
Methylene Blue works even better when combined with light therapy such as red or near-infra-red light.
Although almost forgotten, it is a brilliant first aid support when poisoned with a pharmaceutical drug, or in the field of dentistry if your child has swallowed a good amount of fluoride-containing toothpaste.
It is also the first, most effective, fast-working anti-malaria drug ever developed.
HOW Methylene Blue works
Methylene Blue increases the energy of cells, inhibits nitric oxide, is an antagonist to estrogen, supports thyroid function, increases glucose consumption, decreases lactic acid production and acts as an antioxidant similar to Vitamin E, and positively affects hormones.
If you put a drop of Methylene blue on your skin and it completely disappears in less than six hours this indicates that this area of the body is deprived of adequate oxygen supply at the tissue level.
Methylene Blue has effects on hormones. It inhibits prolactin, and estrogen and increases thyroid hormone and testosterone.
Other remarkable Benefits of Methylene Blue
Scientists have found that Methylene Blue can help with Dementia, depression, pain, and heart issues, and it works as a pain relief and brain booster.
In dentistry, it can aid oral mucositis, a debilitating side effect of mainstream cancer treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Before the era of antibiotics, Methylene Blue was widely and very successfully used for urinary tract infections.
Unfortunately for the drug cartels, Methylene Blue cannot be patented hence there was no incentive to keep researching or even promoting it.
Methylene Blue also acts as a mild antidepressant! It works by improving energy consumption. It even eliminates negative feelings about the past.
Another remarkable application is its combination with ozonated blood infusions which works even better if stimulated with red-light therapy.
Red light activates Methylene Blue to increase the transport of ATP and NAD in oxygen.

WHAT is the most beneficial dosage?
The most beneficial dosage ranges between 0.5 mg to 2 mg per kg body weight diluted in water.
This means if you weigh 50 kg aiming for 0.5 mg/kg you take 25 drops per day. This dosage is found to be safe and beneficial.
At more than 2mg per kg, Methylene Blue becomes a pro-oxidant and is doing the opposite to the low dosage.
WHAT to look out for in Methylene Blue?
First of all, your urine very likely will turn blue or greenish after you have ingested Methylene Blue.
Methylene blue comes in three different degrees of purity.
For consumption, it must be pharmaceutical grade 99% plus purity.
For chemical purposes, the purity is around 95 – 97% and for the textile industry, it is around 90% purity.
Are there any concerns regarding long-term use?
No such concerns are reported.
Side effects of a high dose could be chest pain, shortness of breath, headache, sweating, increased heart rate, restlessness, or nausea.
Methylene Blue should not be taken with SSRI antidepressant drugs.
You will notice that your mouth, teeth, and tongue will become blue. However, this is only temporary.
Rather than using a cheap and effective therapy doctors according to the French philosopher Voltaire, put drugs of which they know little into bodies of which they know less for diseases of which they know nothing at all.
This makes modern medicine the number one cause of death – at least in the US but Would you be surprised if it is true for most of the globe?
