How You Mix Your Own Tooth Paste

.

Save money by preparing it yourself

.

Making your own toothpaste is so simple and in my opinion the results can be far better for you than the tubes of chemical-laden gels, the ingredients of many being downright harmful.

.

The ingredients

you need are a simple combination of three common household ingredients, Baking Soda=Bicarbonate of Soda, make sure it´s without Aluminium, a good unrefined salt like Himalayan salt or Fleur de Sel and 3% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2).

.

Why these ingredients?

It all has to do with the acidity of your body which is measured as pH. An acid has a low pH (lower than 7) an alkaline has a high pH (higher than 7) where 7 is neutral. (see Appendix ?)

Mix two teaspoons of baking soda with ⅛ teaspoon of unrefined salt add half a teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide to form a thick paste. Then massage this paste between your teeth and around the gum line with a clean finger and use a toothbrush with a relatively small head to gently brush the paste onto and around your gums for a few minutes. Brush your teeth as normal using the paste in your mouth. You can also floss while the paste is still in your mouth – it can further help to get it between your teeth. At last rinse out your mouth with water.

.

To add flavour you can always add organic mint powder or mint oil

.

That is all you need to do!

You`ll be amazed how well it works.

.

This procedure may also help whiten your teeth to a more natural white and your gums may become healthy pink as well as becoming firmer.

.

Beware of the ingredients!

If you google ‘chemical free toothpaste’ you have to be alert to companies selling you products that aren’t as chemical-free as they would like you to believe.

An old and trusted herbalist once said to me:”Never put on your skin what you wouldn’t put in your mouth”. The reverse works just as well.
